We have entered the second week of National Smile Month, organised by the charity Oral Health Foundation. The catch phrase this year is Love Your Smile.
One way to love your smile is to look after it by brushing your teeth and gums with a fluoride toothpaste. We recommend replacing your toothbrush (or toothbrush head) every three months — but what do you do with the waste?
We have the answer! In conjunction with Philips Oral Health Care and Terra Cycle, we can now recycle old toothbrushes, interdental brushes, water nozzles and floss containers. Just bring your items to the practice and place them in the box on the coffee table in the hall, and we will send them to Terra Cycle who will ensure effective recycling takes place.
If you'd like any more information on any aspect of your smile — taking care of it, improving it, whitening it, restoring it, straightening your teeth, removing staining or replacing missing teeth — please don't hesitate to call us or speak to any member of our team.
